Hello

Counselling process generally involves the following events:

  • Registration, payment & choice filling
  • Allotment Results are declared
  • Seat allotment letter
  • Reporting to allotted colleges

Some states/colleges release the cutoff (which included the opening and closing rank) while some releases the seat allotment list only.

Kindly specify that you are asking about which counselling so we can provide you the information accordingly.

Good Luck!

if a student gives compartment exam(as he was absent on exam day) in july is he eligible for neet counselling if he scored well in neet which is in june

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 8th Mar, 2020

Bhoomi, the eligibility criteria for NEET is that you should have completed your 12th atleast by the time of counselling and admission. He/she should have completed his/her 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. It if 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Now lets say you write your exams in July, the result might come in August. But by then the counselling would have been complete and classes would have started. And technically you wouldn't have completed your 12th. In such case, you will not be eligible for NEET.

Hi,
It is not necessary to have a guardian with you while the process of counselling ,but there may be some papers that you need to get signed by your local guardian, if you don't have any legal guardian then you need to inform the conducting authority ,while filling the form.
