There are some criteria of reservation for resident  as well as outside students in IPU-CET

For outside students the criteria is:

SC : 15%

ST : 7.5%

DEFENSE: 5%

PWD: 3%

OBC: 27%

however you have a good rank and looking at previous year cutoff you have a

Hello student.

A rank of 3288 rank with sc reservation is a bit low one to get in nit or iiit colleges. You have not mentioned that you belong to sc category. Due to the increasing competition it is important to score higher rank to get into the topo universities.

I checked the opening and closing rank of 2019 om the uptu website. lets say the closing rank for OBGL category for a course in IET is 4001 so, a person with 4000 rank (general), will they take this rank for OPGL category or a person who has 4000 female rank, will they take this rank for OPGL categ
