IGNOU does not provide BE courses. You can do btech in electrical engineering after diploma in lateral entry. You can do your Engineering from AMIE. But it is recommended to do engineering in regular course as engineering is a course which makes you a professional in technology which

see placement scenario  is not good for lower rank nits and if you belongs to core stream like vlsi, communication, power system engineering, placement is not satisfactory. see if you get nits which comes under top 5 you may go for mtech, nut if you want job and job
