Tancet MBA how can I prepare ?

mdsameenabanu Student Expert 5th Apr, 2019

HI,

It is easy to crack TANCET in short period. Tancet has 5 sections

you need to analyze what are the strongest and weakest sections for you.

If you are strong at grammar and data interpretation, focus on problems and business situations analysis.

Practice makes perfect’

studying the formulae of the important topics on a regular basis can help you in solving the problems faster.

Repeated workings on TANCET Mock Tests within specific time-frame can help you improve your speed as well as accuracy.

  • You can start with solving 3 sample TANCET question papers everyday. That will increase your confidence and also help you realise the kind of questions that are asked in the exam.

  • Read newspaper and browse through business websites everyday to know what is happening in the business world. This will be helpful in business analysis segment. You can also google for recent major business decisions or key events/changes that will again help you with this segment.

  • For English section, again reading lots of newspaper, books and magazines will help. They will help you to unconsciously improve upon your grammar without really understanding the technicalities of it (noun, verb, proverb, present tense, past tense etc etc.)

  • For Data sufficiency & QA, you have no choice but to keep practicing as many questions as you can before the D-day. Google methods to solve QA and data sufficiency questions quickly and watch youtube videos on how you can crack maximum questions within limited time.

  • Last but never the least, don’t lose confidence and ensure you eat and rest well. It is just another exam and not the ‘defining moment’ of your future life. Take it easy!

It is essential that you pick a right book for the preparation. Further, you must ensure that the book has all the exam topics and the sufficient number of questions for practice.

TANCET MBA  – E.S. Ramaswamy

Word Power Made Easy – Norman Lewis

Grammar Error Spot – A.Uphadhaya

How To Prepare for Logical Reasoning  – Arun Sharma

Vedic Mathematics – Dr. Aditi Sighal

Mathematics for MBA – R.S Aggarwal

GOOD LUCK

kulvinder 14th May, 2019
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
PEC Chandigarh has reservation only for the chandigarh students.
22511 rank is good but with this rank you won't be able to get any decent branch in PEC.
Most probably available for you are Metallurgical and Mining Engineering or Production and Industrial Engineering.

Hope it would help.
Thank You.

Ive scored only 86% in jee mains. My preparation for it is not too great. But can I score 330 or above in BITSAT after 1 month preparation?

manisha.gupta 11th Apr, 2019

Hello Sidhharth,

You can have definitely a good score in the exam but you need to planned well & work smartly. BITSAT is a online test it is recommended, You must attempt maximum amount of questions and your efficiency also must be good. A lot of practice is required for this.

English Proficiency, this part is slightly tough but you can easily get away with it if you attempt model paper and see pattern of questions asked in exams.

I would also suggest you to focus on the most frequently asked questions in the exam.

You can prefer a personalized Preparation course BITSAT 2019 Knock Out It will be helpful for you to prepare the exam smartly with Unlimited Online Mock test, 5,000+ Concepts, formulas and Definitions, Most asked questions, personalized strength and weakness sheet to analyse yourself and more.

Good Luck!
