How i start my preparation for CAT 2020 . presently i am presuing BBA

Niharika Moturu 15th Dec, 2018

Hello..

Thanks for contacting Careers360...

This is for people who are planning to write CAT 2020.

First and foremost thing that you need to do is bring a huge change in the way you do things every day. Try and utilise every single minute of free time for preparation. Whenever free, try and do something that will help you in one way or the other (mental calculations/reading/revising formulas etc).

People in a very demanding job, stop giving excuses that you are not able to study coz of work. Even though it is true, there is nothing that you can do about it except maybe resign (The worst possible thing that you can do for CAT prep). So take it as a challenge. 2 hrs per day on weekdays and 6 hrs per day on weekends are more than enough for scoring a very good percentile in CAT. Enjoy this preparation, this struggle. Do not think about the result too much, focus on process, the journey.

All the best:)

Hello Shreya

As you have still 23 days .
So you should increase your study time for 15-20 days.
4-5 days you should focus and refresh your weak topics and try to solve the problems of these topics .
Than in 15 days you should focus on the theory and read the concepts and refresh all the concept and do it with patience .don't just as formality.
And you can attempt previous year question paper with proper exams condition.
And last 1-2 days just relax. And the most important thing don't be panic in exam just relax and don't think too much if you get in tricky condition just skip and carry forward.

Is it good to prepare for cat exam or other mba exams after btech in computer science engineering?

Sunil Su. 15th Dec, 2018
Hello nidhi,
Yeah you have good career options if you take cat exam after completing computer science in btech,
But ,its better to do masters in computer science so that you have a grip in the subject .
Taking cat exam is useful but your stream is computer science ,so its may/ maynot useful in taking cat exam (mba).
So better do with masters in computer science ,and by the way in present generqtion you have so many career options
Good luck
