I have only 2 months left for nid DAT preparation, how should i schedule my day to cover both GAT and CAT?

Mrudul Vasant Naik 8th Oct, 2018

Hi Shivangi,

CAT tests your aptitude, so candidates having High IQ also score well with limited preparation.

Since the syllabus of DAT is vast, I would recommend you to give maximum time to DAT. Also, if you are serious about DAT then it would be logical to divert your efforts towards the same.

MBA can be done at any point of time and at any age so don't worry you can go for an MBA later too.

Now coming to the preparation part,

  • Read newspapers daily. especially the editorials.
  • For quat, focus on arithmetic and geometry. Practice quant for at least one hour daily.
  • DI minimum 2 sets daily.
  • Apart from this, take mock tests around 2 per week and sectional and topic wise mocks per day.

This will be enough for your Cat preparation.

All the best!

Hi. I have completed 12th with 95% in 2018 (I studied PCMB in my 12th) . I have applied for JEE. Kindly give suggestions on how to

Shivam Gautam 7th Oct, 2018
Dear Nithish

Since you have a good percentage of record in your class 12th, infact you have applied for the JEE as well but rather than JEE you have to give other entrance exams as well like VITEEE, SRMJEEE, HITS, BITSAT, COMEDK etc which will increases your chance of selection this year. Infact you have subject Bio also, so you can go with NEET also, if you wish.

Iit jee book for maths preparation in last 3 months

Vikas gehlot 9th Oct, 2018

First, solve all previous years Questions of JEE Advance. Then Go for Books for various Topics by different authors and You don't need to solve all the Problems, First, select a set of Problems and try to finish it in a time limit. Books by Amit M Agrawal are good for Calculus. You can go for SL Loney in Trigonometry and Coordinate Geometry. All Arihant books are good provided you stick to the syllabus and solve relevant problems.

By solving previous years Questions you can get Idea of questions being asked.

How I prepare for clat and how much time I give to every subject please suggest timetable for every subject

Shivam Gautam 7th Oct, 2018
Dear Vani

Inorder to prepare for the CLAT you nee to be very about your preparation and regarding that you only have to make your timetable with yourself rather by someone because it will not gonna help you so much. While preparing for your time table make sure that you have to keep atleast of 1hour gap between the two subjects that will be your powernap or be anything. And during the evening hours try to play any kind of sports that will make you fit and active in both ways i.e physically as well as mentally.

is it good to join a coaching institute or study through distance learning program after 12th for preparation of NEET?

Neha Jain 7th Oct, 2018

Hi there,

Thank you for posting your query on our platform.

Joining a coaching institute for the preparation of NEET is only advisable if you hadn't joined coaching in Class XI and XII.

Many people may disagree but coaching is actually very much necessary when it comes to cracking competitive exams like NEET. With organized study materials, well-structured study schedule, various mock tests, and experienced faculty coaching is the only requirement to be able to surely crack NEET.

But if you already had coaching classes in XI and XII then you don't need to join one. Rather just register for a mock test series of a leading coaching institute and start your preparations with already existing coaching material.

If not that, for the most you can join an online preparation course that will increase your chances of clearing the exam. Do check out our NEET knockout course, here is the link for it:

Hope this helps.

Wishing you luck!
