Hello John ,thanks for the asking this question on this platform.actuakky as you have already seen several last year papers of JEE main and advance that means you have a clear idea about what is the exact levels of asked questions and then you can refer syllabus from official website and read it from those books and my suggestion is that not try to read everything present In the book just read the syllabus .thanks 

Yes definitely if you have strong grasping power and good fundamental , however you needdaily 8hours preparation and enough practice in mock exams.

NCERTbooks are recommended. 

Solving nore than 25mocks is must and keep checking all mistakes and weak areas tobscore well.
