Yaah you may prepare after 12th but based upon the class 12th prepration you can't be able to score good marks in MAINS and if you want to take the admission in elite government institute like NIT'S  / GFTI / IIIT then you should start prepration from Class

Arihant - Reasoning book
Taxmann's - Legal Aptitude
English by AP Bharadwaj
IMS  - Legal Reasoning

Dear Ronak,

       You will be able to score well if your cocepts are clear in each of the subjects. The number of hours do not matter here. You need to attempt a lot of mock tests in order to acquaint yourself for the real examination. NCERT books are very good.

But there is vacancies for mechanical civil electrical and their packages is awesome.

Focus on your target and study daily..

Solve atleast 20 questions for each subject and clarify them the next day with your faculties. 

And take proper food and sleep. And don't be stressed.
