Try to solve the previous year question papers as well as mock test series if possible.

You can’t just start studying the course which you haven’t seen yet ,Candidates who are applying must have completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering/ Technology or Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in any relevant science subject or must be in the final year of the programme.

chemistry was a easy subject in regards when compared to phyiscs and mathematics not only ncert also go through ariharant publications maximum bits are coverd by them which may apperes in actual paper mostly go throuh IPE because in chemistry part mostly directs bits will be there

No,  it will not be sufficient you have to read ncert first then solve it's back exercise then refer to any book either pradeep, HTC verma or DC pandey but only one then solve previous year JEE questions.

Of course if you prepare for BITSAT obvioulsy it will be easy to write other competetive/entrance exams,but my suggestion is to prepare for JEE Pattern and syllabus,most of the colleges for their entrance exams they will be conducting the exams as per JEE
