When is the right time to prepare for gate

Dhruv Ladha 23rd Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant!!! The preparation for gate takes around 1.5 to 2 years. So ideally you can start preparing from your 3rd year of engineering. This is the time that most of the students follow.  Although to perform better and get an edge over others in this fierce competition you could start preparing in 2nd year itself, or from your 4th sem to be precise . Hope this helps.

I want to get 250+ in JEE MAIN in upcoming 6 months please give me some tips for my preparation I hadnt started my preparation,I am in 2puc

Dhruv Ladha 23rd Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant!!!! Since you haven't start yet and there is less than a year left which is very less time, you really need to buck up and set your mind to be ready to grind for each and every day that remains. Since you are focusing on jee main , NCERT is a must. You have to be very thorough through it. NCERT will cover up all the concepts and many times in chemistry questions are asked directly from it. For physics and maths practice is the only step. Do join a coaching as well to gain a boost. It will really help a lot. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

What should be my preparation strategy for gate from the 1 st year

Abhijit Kundu 23rd Jun, 2019

Hi Prabhat,

The best way to qualify GATE is if you are well versed with in depth knowledge of your 4 years of engineering. Familiarize yourself witth the syllabus. Make a chart on which courses are important and which among them are taught in which semester.

That way, you can put stress on them and get your doubts cleared while in class. It is pretty early for you to prepare yourself right from first year.

You can relax for now and make the necessary strategies. Most of the departmental subjects are from second year. So keep your head clear and learn the basics. The basics will help you clear GATE

All the best!

Which city Is better for preparation of neet lucknow or dehradun

Hârśhït Pípłãñì 23rd Jun, 2019
Hello Abhishek,
If you are talking about which city has better coaching facilities, then Lucknow would be the better city. This is so as Lucknow has Allen, which is considered to be one of the best institutes for preparation of NEET, while Dehradun doesn't have Allen.
But, I would also like to tell you that you can prepare at home as well. Coaching institutes, including Allen, teach a lot of stuff , as their main aim is to produce toppers, not to help students crack NEET. They do so, because if the institute produces more toppers, more children are likely to join the institute the next year. Most students aren't able to study so much and due to that they feel like they can't do it, even though all you have to do is read the NCERT thoroughly for Bio and chemistry, and Solve MCQs, and for physics, Solve tons of MCQs after memorizing all formulas and concepts.
I have presented all the information I have, so now it's upto you to make the decision.
Thank you and best of luck :)

deepanshi_1560771933 Student Expert 23rd Jun, 2019

Get a coaching either online of by getting admission into a good gate master classes like made easy or other. Getting proper knowledge and clear concepts wont allow you alone to Excel in gate exam, you need proper guideline and for that u need to go to gate classes not may be regularly but you can opt for weekend classes as well. Make a habit of solving aptitude from Arun sharma.

i am in 11 and i have chosen Commerce+Maths stream and what should I Do for preparation of clat .

Avni Singh 23rd Jun, 2019
Hi dear,
Hope you are doing well .
According  to me you should first  thouroghly check the  syllabus of clat and then buy a book which has all  the previous  year papers .. Then my advice is that you should join a good coaching and since you are now just in class 11 th you have 2 years in your hand for the preparations if not 2 then surely 1 year before your boards which is good to understand  the nerve of the exam .. Joining the coaching will give  you  various advantages  like - More questions  to practise , Regular test series , Healthy Competitions, etc. And if you  follow  this diligently.. Then my friend  no one can stop you from cracking CLAT in the first go.. ALL THE BEST .

Diya Mondal Student Expert 23rd Jun, 2019

Yes do rd sharma thoroughly and also do rs Aggarwal and ncert thoroughly. Follow ncert for other subjects also I. e. For chemistry, physics and maths. Do chaya prakasani if you get time. The more you practice the more efficient you will get. Wbjee is not tough but time management is essential
