I have taken drop and i want to appear jee mains again without coaching and my jee mains 2017 marks was 39.

First and foremost, you should have full fledged preparation with all chapters thoroughly by solving atleast 200 questions from each chapter through NCERT books for gaining confidence and give at least 20 Mock papers including previous year papers to get the feel.

Yes, if you are in top 20 percentile of your board then you are eligible to take admission in NITs/IITs/IIITs and CFTIs.

PhysicsMechanics is the most important topic. 12-13 questions were asked on it last time.
