Hi basker ! The rank is not enough to get an admission into nits, or IIITS. Even getting GFTI is bit tough. But I can assure you that your son can earn a seat in any GFTI through non central counselling. He may get Bajpayee institute or CV Raman college.

Ofcourse you can apply via all india quota, and the previous year cut off in terms of all all india quota ranges from 538 for general and 420 for sc categories for the course of MBBS and 513 ( general) and 400(Sc)  for BDS . for more clarity
