For diploma a candidate must have completed class twelth with from a recognised board and with an aggregate of 55% even you can do diploma after graduation too.

Yes he's very much eligible for the exam but only after successfully passing the exam. Because according to NEET eligibility criteria the student needs to have minimal of 50% aggregate in class 12 with physics chemistry and biology as main subject and has to pass them all.

     Definitely you are eligible. You have to take GATE paper in Aerospace Engineering. According to GATE eligibility criteria, you should complete your BTECH or BE degree any stream. You can apply for any stream rather than your stream.
