if someone got 80% marks in 12th can he or she is eligible to take admission in arts stream?

Abir Gayen 14th Apr, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

Eighty percent of marks is quite a good one and most of the colleges generally keep the cutoff of 50 % and around for admission in arts stream. Then the college intakes students based on the marks percentage in class 12 and sometimes the highest percentage intake may rise to even 90 percent. So there is quite a good chance that you can get admission in the colleges.

Hope it helps!!

Which are the best MBA colleges in Pune?

ruchika.chauhan Expert 22nd Mar, 2021

Pune has a number of good MBA colleges and the fact that the sprawling city is close to Mumbai, the country’s financial capital, makes it an ideal place to study management courses. However, there is a catch here. Instead of trying to find out the best MBA college in Pune, you should ideally probe which is the MBA colleges that fits you the best.

The B-school where you want to study should offer the course that is aligned to your career goals. So, the course and the B-school must meet your goals of whether you want a great job in India or become an entrepreneur or find a job abroad. It must also satisfy your objectives regarding the domain which you want to join like HR or Finance or Sales and Marketing etc. Moreover, your qualification and scores in MBA entrance exams must meet the eligibility norms of the B-school where you want to study. And the most important question is whether you can afford that dream course at that dream college.

In this context, the best thing you can do is to pick up some of the good B-schools in the locality and compare them. You can do a short cut by referring to reputed rankings of B-schools. Two rankings I have in mind are the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) by the Central education ministry and the one by Careers360 (www.careers360.com).

The NIRF ranks B-schools based on four major parameters -- Teaching and Learning Resources; Research, Publications and Patents; Graduation Outcome (meaning Pass Percentage and Placements); and Outreach and inclusivity (Scholarships, Diversity etc.).

The Careers360 ranking uses the input, Process, Output methodology to ensure accuracy and gives least weightage to perception parameters. These parameters are further divided and given weightages for student quality, faculty quality, faculty-student ratios, median salary etc.

You can also use Careers360’s tool to compare these institutions. Log on to Careers360 College Compare and compare B-schools in terms of course, placement, and accreditation to choose the one that is your best fit.

Based on these two rankings, here are the best MBA colleges in Pune:

Manidipa Kundu Student Expert 21st Mar, 2021

hi,

see you did not mention about the scholarship name, generally in most of the scholarship criteria freshly registered candidates are eligible. so if you have newly registered for b.tech course after give the the year gap, you are eligible for the scholarship. however if this is an institutional scholarship scheme or state wise or central scholarship it would be best to inquire to college authority.

nest questions are tough than jee mains?? i have given nest last years n seen questions are tricky n complicated.pls tell me the easy way to do the question to score good marks to reach the merit list.i want to get admission in NISER n ihave less time for preparation.pls help me out within 2 month

Pankhuri Kumari 16th Mar, 2021
Hii!
Actually NEST exam tests the logical ability of a candidate as this field is mainly related to research and thus, creative, critical and logical thinking is very important. Therefore the questions come in a twisted format and you need to reach to a conclusion accordingly. You can't quite compare JEE Mains and NEST because they represent different career fields and so the questions are oriented accordingly.
In order to prepare for NEST, try and get the previous year question papers as much as possible and solve them. You will get an idea of the question. NEST official website also provides sample papers and mock tests, you can login and attempt them.
The link given below will help you with more information -

Hope this helps.
