There are there are many scholarships that are awarded to the students after Class 12 across the India some of them are classified in to Gender,Region,Minority,Medhavi scholorship is only upto class 10.

    To be eligible for gate you must have completed your 4 years of graduation if you are doing b.tech. In 3rd year yoh cannot go for the gate exam.

    NIOS is a educational board just like CBSE or any other board. It is run by HRD ministry, Govt of India. A candidate having NIOS certificate can appear in any national level exam like CLAT, JEE and NEET also with AIIMS or JIPMER.

    for stray vacancies there is manual mop up conducted by the states. so one has to be physically present to apply for those seats which are allotted on the basis of marks and category ofcourse. but you cannot apply for the government seats being a non-domicile. only private
