Does this college requires NEET for BNYS course...??

Mitali Sharma 17th Feb, 2025

Hello

No , NEET is not mandatory for admission to the BNYS (Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences) course in many colleges.

However, some universities and states do require NEET scores for admission.

Admission Criteria for BNYS:

1. Without NEET :

Many private universities and some state colleges offer BNYS admission based on 12th grade marks (PCB).

Minimum eligibility : 50% in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) (may vary).

Admission through merit-based counseling or entrance exams conducted by universities.

2. With NEET :

Some states (like Karnataka, Maharashtra, etc.) and government BNYS colleges may require NEET qualification.

Admission through AYUSH counseling or state-level procedures.

Hope this gives you the clarity you need.

I studied in ap. now in kcet what should I keep for eligibility clause???

kumardurgesh1802 13th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

In KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test), eligibility clause depends on your education and domicile status . Since you studied in Andhra Pradesh (AP) , you may not qualify under Karnataka domicile unless:

  1. If you or your parents studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years , you may be eligible under Clause 'A' or 'B' (Kannadiga category).

  2. If your parents are working in Karnataka for 7+ years , you might be eligible under Clause 'C' .

  3. If you are an Andhra Pradesh student without Karnataka domicile , you must apply as a non-Karnataka candidate (for B.Tech, admission is through COMEDK or Management quota ).

Check KCET official brochure for the exact clause that applies to your situation. If you're unsure, select "Others" and verify during document verification.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

i dont have any extra curricular activities. my academics profile is 8/7/8. can i get a call from BLACKI IIMS after scoring 99 percentile in CAT.

Vanshika Agarwal 1st Feb, 2025

Yes, with a 99 percentile CAT score, you have a good chance of receiving a call from the top IIMs (including BLACKI - IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, and IIM Indore) even with a relatively average academic profile like 8/7/8, despite lacking extracurricular activities; however, your chances will be significantly boosted by a strong performance in the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds where you can showcase your strengths and potential beyond just academics.

The minimum age of the candidates must be 17 years by the December 31,2026 to be eligible for the exam. But as you won't be 17 years, you won't be able to give exam. However, you can utilise this time to prepare more for the exam. Many of the student even take a drop to make their fundamental strong and to score better in the exam. You can also utilise your time to make strong foundation of the subject and as you will get more time ,you can practice many mock test and sample papers that will definitely boost your preparation and will enhance your score. So, instead of thinking the situation as negative, you can bring the positivity in mind that yo have got extra time for preparation. To know more about NEET preparation, visit NEET preparation tips

I wrongly entered state code of eligibility in jee mains application, any possibility to correct it in Josaa Counseling, any problem with that in verification, please tell me sir

Deepti Singh 29th Nov, 2024

Hello,

If you have entered the wrong state code of eligibility in your JEE Main application, it's very important to correct it as soon as possible to avoid any issues during the JoSAA Counseling and document verification.

Here's what you can do:

  • Correction after submission of JEE Main Application: After submitting the JEE Main application form, usually no correction is possible in the details such as the state code of eligibility. However, you may check if the JEE Main portal allows any changes in the details post-submission (some correction windows might be provided by NTA).
  • At the time of registration under JoSAA counseling, all your details, including state eligibility code, will have to be verified. In case there is any discrepancy in these, it might create some issues while document verification and would adversely impact the seat allocation process.
  • Document Verification: In case the state code is erroneous, it might lead to a mismatch in the information that you would be presenting on your application form against the documents you submit. In such a case, there could be a delay or complications in the verification process.
  • Contact the authorities: Call immediately to JoSAA or call at the contact number of JEE Main Helpdesk. They will allow rectifying the error in detail or further assist you on what to do next.

Don't delay because discrepancies could hamper your admission. Always double-check your documents against the details filled up in the application form, so verification issues do not occur.

kumardurgesh1802 29th Nov, 2024

Hello Leela,

Yes, you can correct the state code of eligibility during JoSAA counseling if it was entered incorrectly in the JEE Mains application. During the document verification process, ensure you submit valid proof of your correct state of eligibility, such as your domicile certificate or the qualifying exam certificate. This will help match your records. It’s important to bring the issue to the attention of the counseling authorities, if necessary, to avoid any confusion later. As long as your documents are valid and consistent, it shouldn’t cause major problems.

For more details about the JEE Mains correction window, you can check out the article by Careers360 whose link is given below:

I wrongly entered state code of eligibility in jee mains application, any possibility to correct it in Josaa Counseling, any problem with that in verification, please tell me sir

Prachi Kumari 29th Nov, 2024

Hello,

Here is an overview of your issue:-

1. Correction in JEE Main Application: If the state code of eligibility was incorrectly entered in the JEE Main application form, you typically cannot change it during JoSAA counselling. However, JoSAA will consider the state of eligibility as per the JEE Main data.

2. Impact on Counselling: The state code of eligibility affects the home state quota during seat allocation. If entered incorrectly, you might lose the benefit of your actual home state quota and compete under the incorrect state’s quota, which could affect your chances of getting a preferred seat.

3. Possible Solutions:

- Contact the National Testing Agency (NTA) or JoSAA helpline immediately to explain the issue and seek guidance.

- Provide proof of your actual state of eligibility if requested.

- Avoiding Problems: Submit accurate documents during counselling. Any discrepancies might lead to rejection of the seat allotment or admission later.

Hope it helps !

Iam the eligibility person for 7.5% reservation and sc community so safe required score for me in neet 2025

Afreen 13th Nov, 2024

Mainly it's depends on paper difficulty and number of candidates appeared for NEET exam which is more than 23 lakh. if you belong to sc category it might be easier to you .As you can see this year tremendous jump of Cut off from 620 to 655 for general category And even some General category students can't get government College seat at this score.

If the same scenario happens next year, the safe score would be 560 plus for sc category.

So ,to the conclusion, for sc category, the safe mark would be between 560 to 660.
