CMAT eligibility for admission process

Prachi Kumari 7th Jun, 2025

Hello,

Here is the basic eligibility for CMAT admission process:

  1. Qualification : You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university.

  2. Final Year Students : If you are in the final year of your graduation, you can also apply, but you must complete your degree before the admission process ends.

  3. Nationality : You must be an Indian citizen .

  4. Age Limit : There is no age limit to apply for CMAT.

These rules are the same for all categories, but some colleges may have extra conditions, so you may need to check college-wise eligibility too.

Hope it helps !

My child female sc catogory merit list qualify but lowest mark ecounsling selected canddate

Kishan Bhakat 1st Jun, 2025

hi,

If your daughter is from the SC category and her name is on the merit list, that means she has qualified for the counselling process — which is a good sign. However, if you're asking whether her marks are enough for final selection, it depends on:

  • The lowest marks scored by selected SC female candidates in the same counselling round.

  • Seat availability in the course or college she applied for.

  • State/district quota if applicable.

If your daughter's marks are close to or above the last selected candidate’s marks in SC (female), she has a good chance. If not, then she might get a seat in later rounds or through upgradation. Keep checking the counselling portal regularly, and make sure all documents are ready.

I got 13k rank in aeee phase 2 ... I am from Telangana .... In which campus can I get cse and in what slab ... Will I be able to get cse in non scholarship category in coimbatore campus? What r the eligibility for non scholarship category?? Please answer

Rubina Naseer 21st May, 2025

Hello,

Obtaining a CSE at the Amrita Coimbatore campus without a scholarship is difficult for someone from Telangana with a 13,000 rank in AEEE Phase 2, but it is feasible in lower fee slabs or management quota. For general category seats, CSE admissions on the Coimbatore campus typically favour ranks below 5,000. You must meet the minimal academic requirements (such as 60% in PCM in the 12th grade) and have a valid AEEE rank in order to be eligible for non-scholarships. Think about other campuses (Bengaluru or Amritapuri) where there might be more seats available if your rank is high. For precise seat assignments and fee schedules, consult the official counselling details.
All the best.

I am gettt 82 out of 120 in mh law cet 5 year expecti 1 or 2 marks add on after objection tracking can i get atleast des navalmal firodia college with general category ms

Akansha Sharma 11th May, 2025

With 82 out of 120 in MH Law CET 5-year (possibly 83–84 after objections), you have a fair chance to get admission in DES Navalmal Firodia Law College under the General MS (Maharashtra State) category. The cut-off for this college usually stays around 85–90 marks, but it can vary slightly each year. So, your chances depend on the final merit list and how others have performed. Stay updated with the CAP rounds and be ready with backup options too.
