How to participate in stray round counselling..

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 4th Sep, 2019
Stray Vacancy round is conducted by the Central/Deemed University for the remaining seats. The DGHS will send the merit list in 1: 10 ratio to the College and the admissions are based on pure merit. For example, for every 1 seat available, DGHS will release a list of 10 candidates. And MCI has uploaded the Stray Vacancy merit list at its official website mcc.nic.in. You can check the list for different Colleges there. And if your name is in the merit list, you need to attend the Counselling at the College.

Im from hyderabad. So How much marks should I score in neet to get admission in government medical college in Hyderabad.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 28th Aug, 2019
Dear Huda, there are 3 GMCs in Hyderabad. You havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, in 2018 under State Quota, the cut offs for various Colleges under various Categories have been as follows:
                                                       UR           OBC         SC          ST
Koti Medical College:               548            471       443           457
Gandhi Medical College:         552            469       442            472
ESI, Hyderbad:                         529            462       423           447
Now this is 2018 data and cut offs change every year. Now for 2020, you should aim atleast nothing less than 650 for a seat in any of these 3 GMCs.

i have got aggregate 63.90% in my btech , will i be eligible for recruitment through gate for companies like iocl and pgcil

Aquil Uzzama 27th Aug, 2019

Hi there Abhi! Hope you're having a great day.

Well, there's an eligibility criteria for some PSU's like IOCL to have an aggregate 65% if you go through the recruitment process without the gate exam.

Otherwise you won't have any problem.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
