The Qualifying Marks required to appear in NEET exam is given below:
UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects).

Hey, usually the cut off marks for West Bengal, Assam goes low so there was a possibility that your son might have got a college if he would have score 400 above marks.. But 270 marks are too less so he won't get a government seat anywhere.. Hope this helps..
