The basic pattern of GATE exam consists of multiple choice questions, and some questions need to be answered directly using keys

Gate paper consists of maths, Aptitude and your respective branch subjects

@Shristhi: Its difficult to attempt all questions of each section. But if one attempts approx 70 questions and high on accuracy then you have chances to get shortlisted for the other round. Hope this helps you!
