MAH HM CET exam consists of three sections. These are namely English language, reasoning and logical deduction and general awareness. The exam is conducted in English language. There are basically 2 papers in NDA examination.
Mathematics - 300 marks - 120 questions
General aptitude test - 600 marks - 150 ques.
Negative marking - 1/3 for both papers.
Criteria for selection
You need to score min 30 % in each paper .
Securing above 120 marks in Maths and 150-160 marks in GAT assures clearing of both papers individually.
Since cutoff varies from year to its hard to predict final cutoff but a total score of 350 and above can assure call for SSB.

UPSC IAS examination is conducted in 3 stages which are listed below :-
*The first stage of the exam is Preliminary examination :- it is objective and there are two papers GS 1 and GS 2
*The second stage, Mains :- it iis written exam it has gs1, gs2 ,gs3, gs4 and two optional paper and essay writing
*If you manage to clear both prelims and mains then you are to go through third stage i.e interview/personality test .

There will be total 75 questions including 25 each from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
From each subject there are 20 objective question with only 1 correct option and 5 numerical value question.
4 marks will be awarded as a correct answer. 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer in MCQs. There is no negative marking in numerical value type questions. Maximum marks is 300.
