The onlynew changesin JEE Main 2018 is increase in the number of exam centers. CBSE has increased exam centers by 128%.

In the new exam center list of JEE Main 2018-

145 new cities have been added.

10 exam centers also added outside India.

Reading Comprehension- no. of questions (26 to 28approx)

According, to the officials subject experts (who have prepared these question papers) have certified that the entire syllabus of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry has been covered in each question set by dividing the syllabus of each subject into appropriate number of units and choosing equal number of questions

Both the classes are important to prepare for JEE Main and holds somewhat same weightage. 

You can check the weightage of marks of 11th and class 12th below

Class 11th

Chemistry- 56
Physics- 52
Mathematics- 60

Class 12th

Chemistry- 64

Physics- 68
Mathematics- 60
