It contains 200 objective type questions including MCQs and reason-assertion questions from physics, chemistry, biology, general knowledge and Aptitude and logical thinking. There is no such analysis available which can predict chapter wise weightage for GITAM GAT entrance examination. According to previous year trends, the syllabus weightage is similar to that of JEE Mains examination, although difficulty level is little less in comparison with JEE Mains.

Hi Shubham...!!!

The MAT exam will contain total 200 maximum marks. Candidates will get one mark for each correct answer. There will be negative marking in this examination. For each incorrect answer, ¼ of the total marks or 0.25 marks will be deducted from the total score.

Step 1 syllabus includes Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Biostatistics, Behavioral science. Hence it can be taken once you've passed 2nd Prof MBBS exam
