If you are having a diploma then you are a step ahead than that of others who don't have this specific skill set. But with a Diploma you will not be able to get a JD of Business Analyst. But you can apply for analyst firms and they may recruit

With 8 months Diploma , it will not help you to get a job if you have no other skills
