With great scope for research and cutting edge facilities, students have access to resources that enable them to work with premier research institutes. The CEGian thus has access to an unparalleled student experience across academic environments.
For Part Time PG courses :
Eligibility Criteria : Candidates must have a valid GATE Score with qualifying score for assistantship in appropriate discipline of Engineering/Technology. They must have a recent TANCET score, that is conducted by Anna University.
Admission Process : Application forms can be obtained online from the website. Rank lists based upon the TANCA (GATE and/or TANCET) are hence released and counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

I hope it helps.
Good Luck !!
Hi Harshit,
Since you have graduated in the field of chemical engineering, and also have some relevant work experience under your belt, it will be best for you if you go for MBA in Operations or Supply Chain. If you do Marketing or Finance it will be a completely new field for you and therefore reduce your effectiveness as well as make your work experience irrelevant.
operations management will benefit you by boosting your current salary as well.
Hope this helps,
Good luck!

Hi Ankur,
Whether you should pursue MBA or M.Tech in future depends on your interest and life goal. If you are looking for core engineering job then either you can go for M.Tech or you can join a firm related to your core specialisation. But if you want to work in non-core or management firm then MBA is a good option. MBA in IT is again a specialisation. It depends on your interest and firm type you want to work in future (FMCG, IT, Consultancy etc.)
Hi Rekha
You have done some bit of big mistake but I think there is a chance. You can go to the official portal and once again enter into your application and try if it has an edit option. Or else you can cancel your old application and apply for new one or please contact preferred college and tell them about the mistake they can solve that one . They will change your part time as full time in their records afterwards you can pay fee .
Hey Sirley,
St. Hopkins MBA college is the best part time college you can get by giving PGCET exam.
But I don't recommend you to do part time MBA until you get professional experience from the cooperate industry.
All the best for the furture.
Thanks
You can definitely check out a part time MBA course even if you don't have work experience. Work experience is required only when you opt for an executive MBA which is for an year. So you can look out for distance MBA plan from any of the good Universities that offer it.
