Give me a chance to make it clear, that Central Universities are a not Usefull. Indeed, CRAP, total CRAP. Don`t join these focal colleges. But a couple, similar to Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University and so on., rest all are simply made for defilement. Gone are the days, when Central Universities, had an awesome name. Today, they are nothing.
The Central Universities, built up in 2009, are the most exceedingly bad in the nation. They, are simply places for profiting by the authorities. Instructors, Labs, and even essential pleasantries, are truant in these colleges.
The old focal colleges, as DU, HCU, BHU, and so forth., are a bit alright, however are awful in arrangements and so forth. Personnel in these old focal colleges, are a bit alright, yet, they linger behind
My recommendation is, Don`t join these focal colleges, particularly the ones built up in 2009. Go along with them, just in the event that they are your last choice.
Before joining any college, or montage, do check its NAAC SELF STUDY
hope i made good for your query !!
All the best!!:)

hi sajanram,
The National Entrance Screening Test (popularly known as NEST ) is an annual college entrance examination in India , conducted for admission into the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and the Center for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai . These two institutes use NEST as a sole criterion for admission to their undergraduate programs. Also, the Integrated Science Education & Research Centre (ISERC) of Visva Bharati University has been using the merit list of NEST for admission into its undergraduate program for the last 3 academic sessions. NEST was conducted in 45 centers across India in 2014.
