Batch of 2024 only kmit (not included ngit n kmec) college got 83% placements is it true..... because my son not get placement in this campus

Radhika Goyal 13th Oct, 2024

Hy,

Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology (KMIT) in Hyderabad has reported notable placement statistics for the 2024 batch. According to the NIRF 2024 data, the institute achieved a placement rate of about 97.67%, with 546 out of 655 graduating students placed. The average salary package for the batch is around INR8.76 lakhs per annum, with the highest salary reaching an impressive INR1.22 crores per annum.

However, if your son did not secure a placement, it may be due to several factors such as the competition for jobs, specific skill sets required by companies, or personal circumstances. Placement success can vary significantly among students based on individual performance and readiness for the job market.

For more detailed insights on KMIT's placement process, statistics, and support for students seeking jobs, you can refer to their official placement reports or visit their website. If your son needs additional support, encouraging him to connect with the placement cell for guidance and resources might be beneficial.

I have got 97.86 percentile in MHT CET 2024 (PCM) .WHICH COLLEGE SHOULD I CHOOSE WITH LOW FEES AND GOOD PLACEMENT AND SPORTS OPPORTUNITES? I HAVE IN MIND WALCHAND COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING ELETRICAL BRANCH (BUT IT IS CORE BRANCH ) OR GCOE NAGPUR COMPUTER SCIENCE (BUT PLACEMNT IS AVG.) OR ANY OTHER

monag2673 15th Jul, 2024

With a 97.86 percentile in MHT CET, you have excellent options.

While Walchand College of Engineering is reputed, consider exploring other options for better placement and potential sports opportunities. GCOE Nagpur's average placement might be a concern.

Prioritize colleges with strong industry connections, good placement records, and active sports culture.

Consider these factors:

  • Location: Cities like Pune, Mumbai, and Nagpur offer more job opportunities.
  • Branch Preference: Apart from Computer Science, explore other branches like IT, Electronics, or even emerging fields.
  • College Infrastructure: Good labs, libraries, and sports facilities are crucial.

Some potential options to explore:

  • Government colleges: Consider colleges like COEP Pune, VJTI Mumbai, or PICT Pune for lower fees and good placements.
  • Reputed private colleges: Explore options like MIT Pune, VIT Pune, or DYPCOE Pune for strong placements.

Which college is more worth it ICT Mumbai or ICT Jalna

Tanya Gupta 27th Sep, 2024

ICT Mumbai and ICT Jalna are both reputable institutions, but they differ significantly. Here's a comparison:

ICT Mumbai:

· Established in 1933, with a rich legacy

· Autonomous institution, affiliated with Mumbai University

· Strong industry connections and alumni network

· Better placement opportunities (average package: 6-8 lakhs)

· Diverse course offerings (UG, PG, PhD)

· Located in Mumbai, providing exposure to India's financial hub

ICT Jalna:

· Established in 2009, relatively newer institution

· Affiliated with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University

· Growing industry connections, but limited alumni network

· Decent placement opportunities (average package: 6 lakhs)

· Limited course offerings (primarily UG)

· Located in Jalna, a smaller town with limited exposure

Considering factors like reputation, placements, and location, ICT Mumbai has an edge. However:

· ICT Jalna offers affordable education (lower fees)

· Smaller class sizes, potentially better faculty-student ratio

Choose ICT Mumbai for:

· Better placements

· Diverse course offerings

· Strong industry connections

Choose ICT Jalna for:

· Affordable education

· Personalized attention

Ultimately, prioritize your needs and goals.

Best wishes!

hello my probelm is this that im 1st year electrical engineering student and have mostly cleared all my KT exams but still have chances that i might have back in basic Electrical engineering subject so does that will affect in 4th year or 3rd year for my internship and collage placement?

Abhishek 13th Aug, 2024

Hi there,

Hope you are doing fine.

You do not need to take any worries regarding your potential back in a subject because it can hamper your performances.

Generally , the back in a subject is shown in a marksheet with a bold mark but if you clear it then there will not be any issue in getting internship or placement at the time of the 4th year because they are completely based on your skills and experience regardless of the marks in the particular subject. However , some company requires a minimum cgpa to be eligible to sit in an interview.

Thus, it is beneficial for you to mention a healthy grade and hope in the future to not get any back in any of the subjects as it can lose your chances of securing job in well known reputed companies.

Hope this resolves your query.
