Placement for Mining in VNIT has had good record till 2017 passout batch. Coal India being major recruiter with good package.

But this year (2018 passout batch) none of the core companies visited except Vedanta (private mining company)which recruited only 2 students.(LnT did visit but did not give results

BIET JHANSI h ave good placement in CS and IT Branch with average of 4.5 Lpa and highest 12Lpa. Placement in core is average because core branch student goes to IITS  and IIMs for higher studies and most student crack Gate examination.

GNA University, Phagwara is a private university which was established not so long ago, in 2014. Hence they don't have much of a placement history. Last year highest package was between 5 to 6 lakhs, which is quite satisfactory for a private university. Average package goes around 3 lakhs.
