in the official website of amrita they said that in order to qualify for the counselling one must have atleast 55% in maths ,physics, chem

NITIN BALASUBRAMANIAN 21st May, 2019

Hi,

They would take the average of both papers to check your eligiblity.

Since your average is higher in than the minimum required ,you would be able to attend counselling and also procure a seat.

Both your papers constitute Maths, therefore the average of them is your aggregate Maths total.

Hello there,

The choice of subject in this senario is very subjective and will vary from person to person. If you find yourself having a very analytical mind and capable of handling both Ecomonics and UPSC studies, you should choose B.A. Economics. In case you are passionate about English Literature and don't mind studying loads of Literatary texts and History of Literature and practice lot of creative writing such as essay, report, etc. you should choose B.A. English.
