Rank
With a JEE rank of 358209 and EWS category, securing a B.Tech seat in CSE or Electronics in top NITs or IIITs is unlikely. However, you may get a seat in lower-tier colleges or state-level engineering institutes through counselling.
Dear aspirant,
To secure a free seat in KCET for SC/ST categories, one need to require a rank within a specific range, influenced by the college, branch and overall competition. A rank below 50,000 is considered as good but again the total number of candidates appearing for KCET and their performance impacts the cutoff ranks. A higher overall rank can make it more competitive to secure a free seat. For more information on category wise cut offs, please visit this link attached below.

HELLO,
With a 95.75% in JEE Main 2025 , General -EWS rank of 9115 and CRL 64274 you have a very good chance of getting CSE at IIIT Pune as its previous closing ranks go beyond your EWS rank. However getting CSE at NIT Nagpur is highly unlikely as its CSE cutoff for general -EWS is usually below 8000.You may still get CSE in some mid or lower tier like NIT Patna , Jalandhar, Agartala, or Hamirpur depending on round and category trends

Hope that Helps!
Hello,
with a JEE Main general category rank of 38,860, securing admission to electronics and communication engineering (ECE) in top NITs in south india is challenging. however, you may have a chance in newer or less competitive IIITs such as IIIT Srirangam, IIIT Kottayam, or IIITDM Kancheepuram, where ECE closing ranks have extended beyond 35,000 in recent years. its advisable to participate in all JOSAA counselling rounds and consider spot rounds, as cutoff can vary annually based on seat availability and applicant preferenes.
Given your JEE Main score of 83.5 (CRL: 243,723; SC rank: 13,382), admission to NIT Trichy is highly improbable, even under the SC category, as the cutoff ranks for this institute tend to be significantly higher. You may want to consider applying to lower-ranked NITs, IIITs, or reputable state engineering colleges through JoSAA counselling. If you would like assistance identifying suitable options, please let me know.

With a 96.2 percentile and a rank of 57,486 in JEE Mains, here are some college options you might be able to consider:
1. Government Colleges (GFTIs and State Engineering Colleges):
GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes): Some newer GFTIs might have a lower cutoff for admissions.
State Colleges: Apply through state-level exams or quotas (e.g., MHT CET, WBJEE, UPSEE).
Other Engineering Colleges: Some government engineering colleges might accept your rank through state counseling or special rounds.
2. Private Colleges:
Private Colleges Accepting JEE Mains: Many private engineering colleges accept JEE Main scores and may have lower cutoffs, such as:
UPES Dehradun
VIT Bhopal
LPU (Lovely Professional University)
Shiv Nadar University
Bennett University
You might be able to get branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
3. Other Options:
Spot Rounds or CSAB Counseling: These rounds can offer opportunities for admission in various colleges.
With a JEE Main 2025 rank of 163355, 88.92 percentile, and General category, chances of getting a top government college in West Bengal are low. However, you may get lower branches like Mechanical or Civil in institutes like Kalyani Government Engineering College.
With your CRL rank of 230,902 and OBC-NCL rank of 79,675, you might get admission to some colleges. Here are a few options:
NIT Andhra Pradesh : Biotechnology, Metallurgical Engineering.
IIIT Chittoor : Electrical Engineering, possibly some branches of Computer Science.
Government Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh : Andhra University, JNTU Kakinada, JNTU Hyderabad.
Other GFTIs : Assam University, Tezpur University, Central University of Rajasthan.
Check JoSAA counselling and consider AP EAMCET for better chances of admission.
You can also use our JEE Main College Predictor tool to predict which college you can get based on your scores.
Hope it helps !
With a CRL rank of 49,000 and an EWS rank of 6,786, getting admission to DTU and NSUT through JAC Delhi is unlikely for top branches like CSE, IT, or ECE. You may have better chances in lower branches or other colleges under JAC Delhi. Consider exploring other options as well.
