Which College i will get on the basis of my all india ranking in maharashtra in BAMS. NEET ALL INDIA RANK 956691 PERCENTILE SCORE OBTAINED 205 STATE MP

kumardurgesh1802 25th Oct, 2024

Hello Samiksha,

With an All India Rank of 956,691 and a NEET score of 205, securing admission to a BAMS college in Maharashtra may be quite challenging. The cutoff ranks for BAMS programs in Maharashtra generally tend to be higher, often in the range of 400 to 600 or more, depending on the specific college and category.

Typically, government colleges have stricter cutoffs compared to private institutions. Based on your rank, you may want to consider private BAMS colleges, but even there, competition is high, and it may be difficult to find seats available for such a rank.

For more accurate information on specific colleges and their cutoffs, it is advisable to check the official websites or consult the Maharashtra CET cell's guidelines for the latest updates on admissions.

You can also look at the Maharashtra CET official site for more details.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

  2. Private Medical Colleges : You may also have options in private colleges that offer MBBS programs. Institutions like Kasturba Medical College (Manipal) and Dayananda Sagar College of Medical Sciences might be viable options.

  3. Deemed Universities : Several deemed universities might accept your rank as well, such as NIMS University, Jaipur , and BRS Institute of Medical Sciences, Punjab .

    Admission Process:
  • State Quota : Check the cutoffs for state quota seats in your state, as these may vary from year to year.

  • All India Quota : You should also apply for All India Quota seats, which typically offer a wider range of options.

can i get admission in this college with 402score

kumardurgesh1802 15th Nov, 2024

Hello aspirant,

With a NEET score of 402, your chances for MBBS admission in government medical colleges may be limited, especially if you belong to the General category, as cutoffs for these colleges tend to be higher. However, you may have better options in semi-government or private medical colleges, depending on your state, category, and the specific institution’s cutoffs.

In states with lower competition or where reserved categories have relaxed cutoffs, you might have a chance for government seats or under management quota seats in private colleges. It's best to check state counseling cutoffs for private and semi-government medical colleges to see where you might qualify based on your score.

In previous years, the cutoff for SC candidates has been around 400-450 marks, while for the general category, it tends to be higher. Given your score, here are some options to consider:

  1. Government Medical College, Thiruvarur
  2. Government Medical College, Kanyakumari
  3. Government Medical College, Tirunelveli (depending on the category)

    Steps to Follow:
  • Check Cutoff Trends : Review previous years' cutoff scores to gauge your chances.

  • Participate in Counseling : Engage in the Tamil Nadu NEET counseling process for the most accurate information on seat availability and category-specific quotas.

I am Prarthana Biju B from KollamI have got 573 mark in Neet ug and all india rank 112754 and my OBC (NCL) Rank 53624can I got admission in MBBS

kumardurgesh1802 25th Oct, 2024

Hello there,

With a NEET score of 573 and an All India Rank of 112,754, your chances of securing admission to an MBBS program in India, especially in government colleges, are generally moderate to low. However, the situation can vary significantly based on the specific state quotas, category rankings, and the number of available seats.

Possible Admission Scenarios:

  1. Government Medical Colleges :

    • For OBC (NCL) candidates, the cutoff scores for government colleges can vary by state. Generally, a score of 573 might be competitive, but it largely depends on the specific college and state.

    • In states with high competition, such as Maharashtra or Delhi, the cutoff might be higher, but in states with fewer applicants, your chances could improve.

  2. Private Medical Colleges :

    • You might have better prospects in private medical colleges or deemed universities, where the cutoffs are generally lower than those of government colleges. However, keep in mind that these institutions usually have higher tuition fees.

  3. State Quota and Counseling :

    • Each state has its own counseling process. Make sure to participate in your state's NEET counseling, where you can explore options based on your rank and score. States like Kerala, where you are from, might offer specific opportunities for OBC candidates.

      Recommended Steps:
  • Check State Cutoffs : Look at the previous years' cutoffs for OBC candidates in Kerala and other states of interest.

  • Participate in Counseling : Engage actively in the counseling processes, including any stray vacancy rounds if necessary.

  • Consider All Options : Explore admission into private colleges or consider other health-related courses if MBBS doesn’t materialize.

For detailed information regarding college cutoffs and admission processes, consider visiting official state counseling websites or resources like the National Testing Agency (NTA) or the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
