The GATE Toppers mostly prefer getting job in PSU LIKE BHEL etc. 

Most of the candidates gives gate for PSU. 

those who miss PSU go for IITS. 

Or thise are really interested in Mtech or doing PHD they go for higher studies.

There are many PSUs recruiting through GATE and providing good pay scale. Their cutoff vary accoiding to the number of vacancies. Most of the PSUs conduct their separate interview after shortlisting through Gate. Some might not take. 

Airports Authority of India (AAI): marks - 53.33

ONGC: general - 864, obc-

Its a little bit difficult to get call from PSUs at this marks. But it will depend on your category also. Roughly around 250 seats are available for civil engineering in PSUs. Since they conduct interview and written after shortlisting through Gate, so you may get chance to get selected

Most of the PSU releases there cutoff in marks out of 100 so if you provide us with your marks then it will be easy to predict PSU for you.

Regarding IITs, here are some IITs you can apply to

• IIT BHU
• IIT Gandhinagar
• IIT Mandi

Your marks and rank are a bit low.As per previous years cutoffs for IITs, NITs and PSUs you have near to no chance to get there.You have to compromise with the lower NITs and you can apply for state government Colleges.But you should prefer to take a year
