If you belong to Karnataka in sc category then you will definitely get top colleges in Karnataka in state quota in sc category. AIQ has way higher cutoffs and also the cutoff has increased this year so if you are getting good colleges in Karnataka then grab it.

Once you apply for second counselling and did not freeze seat which you got in first counselling before the last date then you wont be eligible for that seat.
So,though you apply for second counselling accept that first seat and go for it.

Dear aspirant why do you want to go for gftis. You may get nit Bhopal, silchar, pondicherry, Durgapur, silchar, Punjab in the 7 8 round. Your percentile is good enough. You can get nit also in the special rounds. So first try for nits then give gftis as the last

As you mention your rank with that rank can't able to get top colleges ...but with your rank can get these colleges:
You have low rank but stay tuned till spot round as seats remain empty in nits and iiits which they also want to fill. But you should necessary have some back-up because it's not sure that you will get a college in spot round.
