You have not been specific about your inclination, since WBJEE offers Architecture, Pharmacy and Engineering etc. So I will just state the state the government colleges that you could get leaving any sort of branch specification. According to the GMR provided  here are some govt. colleges :

Here are some preparation tips for cat exam :-

1. Collect all the study material and go through it.

2. Practice last year papes to get an idea about the exam pattern. There are chances for similar questions to be asked.
