yes there are fair chances. with in rank under 1000 you have chances in jadavpur university. however tevery year cutoff changes and it varies from stream to stream. however attempt the counselling process and lets see whats happen, so best of luck.

at this score it is not possible to get cse or ece or ee or mechanical or information technology stream of government colleges. even for your obc rank it would be difficult. however you may have chances in interduisciplinary courses like metallurgy, chemical, textile technology, etc.
