Unfortunately the whole admission process for both NITs and GFTIs will be done by JOSAA. So whatever rules set by JOSAA for NITs will be applicable for GFTIs too. You might consider GFTIs which aren't offering admission through JOSAA. All the best.

The marks of top 20 percentile will obviously be more than 75% since it is too easy to score. Hence the criteria for selection in JEE would be 75% by default. So, I would suggest you to consider the criteria as 75% only.
