Since your preparatory rank is 1080 in SC category , you may get a chance in IITs but can't say for sure. As per the previous years cutoff trends you may get an IIT but it is tough to say in which branch you will get .

   Sorry to say this , your rank is too far from the cutoff of the biotechnology stream in ap nit according to the previous year cutoff . I think you won't be able to get seat in an NIT with the above rank , you can with IIITs
