You should be able to get admission in your Home State NIT with your rank. IF you do not want to take admission there, you can try the NITs in the North-Eastern states like Meghalaya, sikkim, Arunachal pradesh or NIT puducherry. Hope this helped.

If this is your general category rank in Jee Mains then it is very good rank .You will get all the good NIT'S in mechanical engineering according to your rank.I am saying this on the basis of previous year opening and closing ranks.

See Aakash what you are saying is that you are from obs category and your nimcet rank is 1452 . If i see previous year closing rank then considering the obc category rank of different college then it is not possible for you to get a seat in any nit.
