With your mentioned rank it is highly unlikely for you to get into NITs. You could still apply for the josaa counselling process and try your luck. But I would suggest you to try for state level engineering colleges which accept JEE main scores. You could get good

But there are many factors like gender,branch,caste,home State,etc on which the admission will depend on.

Getting Cs in top colleges will be tough.
