MBBS all India 2nd round result is on 25th November. WB 1st round college reporting last day is 24th November. I want to participate in AI second round, at the same time want to secure seat allotted in 1st round of WB state councelling process. Is it possible to do so?

iammohdshareef 15th Nov, 2020

You have to select between All India Counseling or State Counselling. Once you join a college you cannot quit the seat. You will lose the security deposit. So you have to decide which Counselling you want to attend, either All India Counselling or State Counseling. You can secure the seat

my son got 18312 rank in jee advance..he is very much interested in pure sciences and research...he gave hcu exam for integrated m.sc aswell can we expect a seat in hcu .we are general category regards, srilath

kritiesse 7th Oct, 2020

Hello sir,

18312 is a pretty good rank if your son wants admission in NIT's or a good B.Tech college. Students within the first 20000 ranks get good colleges according to previous years trends.

As for admission in HCU, the seats for integrated course under general category are around 20.

Ouat result recently came out I want to know how percentage is calculated,in10th I got 81%,in 12th 76% in pcb and in ouat entrance 70 how to calculate ??

U. Janani 14th Nov, 2020

Hi Pratyush!

You have to calculate the percentage with you 10th, 12th PCM or PCB and OUAT marks.

Below is the formula:

(10th mark / 4) + (12th mark / 4) + (OUAT mark / 4) = is your total!

In your case,

(81/4) + (76/4)  + (70/4)  = 56.75
