Can I get admission in government college of Delhi if I have scored 526 marks in NEET through stray vacancy round and DELHI QUOTA (GNNO)

Sriya Bose Student Expert 1st Sep, 2019
Hello Aspirant!

You may have a chance to get a government college with this marks using the Delhi Quota, but you also have to keep in mind that this year the range of marks have gone very high. A NEET UG score of 550 and above is more of a guarantee for getting a govt medical college in Delhi (using the Delhi quota).

What is cut off mark and rank for obc in blat

deepanshi_1560771933 Student Expert 1st Sep, 2019

This year's cut-off should be a little high because the paper was too easy. Since the seats are only 60 and almost 15,000 students appeared for BLAT 2017. Hence there are complete chances that the Cut-off will be High.

Now talking about the numbers, Past two year's cut off was approx 300 marks for General Candidates. Although paper of past 2 years were not this simple as this year's was. Hence I think this year it may cross even 320–330 (For General). F.Y.I. The seats for General category is not 60, ITs 28. Remaining seats are reserved for SCs, STs and OBCs.

l am student of b.ed (special education) of sanskriti university, mathura. My enrollment no. is 1711303006. My 2nd year result is declare. I want to know total no. of my result and percentage and which division i passed.

Sujata Tripathi 10th Oct, 2019

For this information, you need to visit your college's hosting website where student information is uploaded (like isim or RF Campus etc). You can check your result online by entering required credentials correctly.

Another thing you can do is visit your college's Controller of Exams' (COE) office. You tell them the details (enrollment number, admission number etc) and they'd provide you a printout of the result.

Hope this helps. Good luck.

How many marks should need to qualify gate & whats its benefits?

ANPAM KUMAR Student Expert 31st Aug, 2019

Hey there

Passing gate Is not tough and many students do that. The cutoffs each year varies like 2019 had High cuttoffs than 2018 and so you should not go with marks. Gate is an exam where if you want to get psu then your rank should be under 400 minimum and for Mtech from iits around 1000 is required. Now if you get 40 marks then you may qualify gate but you won't get anything good and so I will not recommend you to just pass by Cutoff have marks more than 65 atleast so that you will have better options.

Check about GATE

improvement exam 2020 and eligibility criteria for jee

NILUTPOL Student Expert 31st Aug, 2019
Hello,

NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs Admission:Candidates should have obtained a minimum of 75% marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination. For SC/ ST, the eligibility is to obtain a minimum of 65% marks in class 12 or equivalent.

JEE Main 2020 - Details of Improvement Examination

Improvement for all subjects- If an aspirant appears for improvement in all subjects in 2020, then the highest of both the years will be considered.

Improvement for one or more subject- If the candidate appears for improvement in 2020, then the top 20 percentile of 2019 will be taken into account. The maximum marks secured in the necessary subjects will be considered to calculate the aggregate percentage in such a case.
If a candidate passes Class 12 but writes one or a few subjects for improvement or any other reason, then top 20 percentile cut-off will be considered.

However, if a candidate writes all the subjects then the best of the two performances will be considered.

In case a Board does not provide information about the cut-off for the top 20 percentile, the candidate will have to produce a certificate from the respective Board stating that he/she falls within the top 20 percentile of successful candidates. If the candidate fails to do so, then the cut-off marks for the CBSE will be used.

If a candidate has passed Class 12th/ Equivalent qualifying examination from one state but appeared for improvement from another state, their state code of eligibility will be from where they have originally passed Class 12th/ Equivalent qualifying examination and not the state from where they have appeared for improvement.

How much minimum rank should we get in jee main and advance to enter the college??

NILUTPOL Student Expert 31st Aug, 2019
Hello,
For NITs, only JEE mains is accepted, and the cutoffs close down to 10,000 rank for JEE MAIN and hence beyond such ranksyou have less chances to make through.

For IIts, you need to also appear for JEE advanced alongwith JEE mains.

For all top IITs like Madras, kharagpur, bombay, delhi, Kanpur, Hyderabad you are supposed to be under AIR 9000 for JEE Advanced to get any of the branches at above colleges.

You can get complete details about closing ranks for all IIT s and the respective branches as per 2019:-

What I have to do if I got low marks in neet? Am I able to join in BNVS,such courses?

deepanshuj0108 Student Expert 31st Aug, 2019

Hello Hasmitha,

Well, firstly even if you score less life doesn't end there. You can always think of an alternative and make choices accordingly.

  • If you're getting above 50% i.e 360 but not more than 420(depending on your state), you'll be eligible for counseling and might get a medical college if not for MBBS definitely for dental. But, the college allotted will be a private one.
  • If you're scoring less than that it's very unlikely. But, as I said there's always an alternative. You can think of dropping a year to prepare for the same or look up for some other courses.

Always remember, life gives you a second chance! Believe in yourself and hope for the best.
