My bcece ebc rank 2202 and ur rank 8276 in pcm can I get my name in merit list and I get any college???

Rajashree Khandelia 31st Aug, 2019

Hello Lucky Sahu

Yes, you might get your name in the merit list. You have a fair chance of getting admission in the college. Cutoffs vary every year due to the difficulty level of the  paper, no. of students appearing for the exam, no of students appearing for the counselling and no of seats available in the college. You have less chances of getting a governmenet collge. But you may try for private colleges.

Hope it helps you.

My marks is 49.66% in bachelor degree and i belong to obc but i also completed my post graduate this year with 60% may i eligible to cat ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Amit, the eligibility criteria says tjat a Candidate should have completed his Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 50% for General Category and its 45% for Reserved Categories. Now OBC has a certain reservation and so it falls under Reserved Categories. So you are eligible to appear for CAT based on your Bachelor's degree. CAT is for admission to PG courses and the basic eligibility remains Bachelor's degree. Which means anything additional is additional and can help you in the Academic profile while being shortlisted for WAT and PI.

Will i get mbbs seat with 500 marks in neet 2019 under punjab state counselling as it has 1% quota for punjab police wards...plzzzz reply

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Aryaman, Punjab has aproximately 900 MBBS seats including Government and Private Medical Colleges. With 1% reservation, you have only 9 seats among 900 seats for wards of Police personnel. Which means the cut offs will be higher. Punjab has usually higher cut offs. But with 500, you might get a seat in a Private Medical College. BabaFaridabad University has released allotment list at http://bfuhs.ac.in/. You can check for the cut offs for various colleges at this page.

how much marks should i score in neet 2020 which secure my seat in gov. medical collage in MP?? i am from ST category!!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Krishna, in 2018 under State Quota, a score of 279 secured a seat in GMC, Vidhisha under ST Category. Now this is 2018 data. In 2019, the general cut offs have been increased by 15 marks and in certain colleges, the cut offs wenr as higher as by 70 marks. And cut offs change every year depending on various factors like no.of candidates appearing for the exam, no.of candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Considering all these facts, you should atleast aim for 450-500 if you do not want to pressurise yourself amd wait until mop up round.

How much jee rank need to join aeronautical engineering

S. Saha Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
To get into aeronautical Engineering in the top (IITs) colleges require extreme hard work on your behalf. Certainly having a rank below 800 in JEE Advanced will help you secure a seat in IITs with this stream.
Now lets come to Aeronautical Enginnering in IIEST Shibpur...It is a relatively new branch here(established in 2010) but the exposure you are going to get here is even quite extraordinary.
For the past three years, in IIEST Shibpur, the opening rank for Aeronautical Engineering is around 3000 which is equivalent to scoring 240 in mains. And the closing rank is around 18900 which is equivalent to 160 in mains. Below 160 in jee mains, you have no chance of securing aeronautics in any govt. college until you are from West Bengal where even 145 is enough to get into aeronautics in IIEST Shibpur.

My state rank is 2093 and state category rank in jharkhand is 88 in neet. Can I get a mbbs seat? I have a domicile of the state.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 29th Aug, 2019
Dear Sweety, you havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, the newly approved Medical Colleges have a total intake of 300 which is distributed among all Categories. That will look approximately as follows:

ST: 78
SC: 30
BC-I: 24
BC-II: 18
General Category: 150

Now you might have a chance if you belong to General Category but surprisingly not if you belong to Reserved Categories because the no.of seats are lesser than your rank.
