Dear,
GATE is a National level Common Entrance test to get admission to Mtech course in IIT's, NIT's and Top institutes. One can also get a job in PSU through better GATE Score. Each PSU has its own cut-off marks. Generally one need minimum 70 marks in GATE exam to get a job in PSU.
Dear Siddant, 506 is a decent score. In 2018 under State Quota 469 marks secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College under General Category. In 2019, the cut offs have gone way higher and hence there has been a change in rh3 current seat scenario. With 506 marks you should be able to get a seat atleast in the 2nd round. This is because Candidates with 530 and above who havent been able to secure seats in MBBS, would prefer BDS and BAMS pushing the cut offs even higher.
Hello Disha Kemble
Getting rank depends on many factors such as you have to a good score in 10+2.
According to the previous year trends, if you have 90% in 10+2 and get around 120 or more out of 180 then there is a great chance of getting rank below 5000. Still it is very uncertain because of increasing competition every year and number of student appearing for the exams every year.
So according to me try to get as much score as you can. Try to get a good percentage in your boards, i.e. abouve 90% and above 120 marks in KCET to get a rank below 5000.
Hope it helps you.

Hi Aspirant,
See what happens usuaaly is the change like that is not considered as the happening of it is completely related to availability of seats and once you have opted for a part time course you may have to wait untill to take admission for you to get some sort of upgradation if it is allowed. Here is the brochure for PGCET candidates there might be something useful in it.

Good Luck !!
Hello Vishal Atrish
The cutoff varies year to year due to paper difficulty level, no of students appearing for the exam, no. of students appearing for the counselling, no. of seats available for the course in the college. etc. So there is no particular marks for the cutoff.
