Hello,
The amount required during admission counselling depends on the college, course, and counselling authority.
Generally:
For government counselling (like JoSAA, NEET, etc.), the registration fee is around Rs. 1000 to Rs. 5000.
For private colleges or state-level counselling, it can range from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 1 lakh as a security deposit or admission fee.
The exact amount is mentioned in the official counselling notice or website.
Hope it helps !

Hello amrinder !
Congratulations on getting selected for an interview at IISc. Your IISc material engineering ( M.Tech research/ Ph.D.) interview results will be declared only on the IISc admission portal not on COAP.
Secondly if you are selected the offer letter must be accepted through the IISc admission portal itself not via COAP.
COAP is used only for course based M.Tech/M.Des not for M.Tech (research) or Ph.D.
Hello Priyanka!
The CSEET exam, face a technical glitch, and then have your result cancelled. Unfortunately, technical issues during online exams are a known problem, and the best step now is to formally write to the ICSI explaining your situation. Attach proof if you have screenshots, error messages, or invigilator reports. Mention that the paper difficulty felt unusually high, though keep in mind that exam difficulty alone is not usually a valid reason for re-evaluation—it’s the technical failure that strengthens your case for a retest or consideration. ICSI sometimes conducts special re-tests for affected candidates.
Best wishes, and thank you!
There is a moderate possibilities that you would be admitted to a low teir Government Medical College in Kerala if if your all India rank in NEET 2025 is 32,000 under the EWS category but in later rounds of counselling due to high competition in Kerala. So, Keep up during the counselling and participate in all rounds.
