Scope of Neuroscience:

There are a lot many institutes and research centres in India which encourage neuroscientifuc research. However, the probability of getting into these institutes is fairly low because of high population and limited seats.

USA, Germany, Australia and UK are places which encourage intensive research in the field of neuroscience. There are multiple opportunities in research fields for students willing to pursue a career in research in the places.

The jobs in neuroscience are usually offered in the field education in higher study institutes, research centres and laboratories etc.

There are certain industrial jobs also available in companies dealing with biotechnology in neurosciences.

There are biomedical institutes which have a high demand of neuroscientists for research and testing of neuroscientific products.

In order to enhance your chances at getting better jobs, it is always suggested that you opt for further study in this field. Since it is a research oriented course, you do not tend to learn all parameter involved in research and applications in your undergraduation.

There are many institutes, both in India and abroad which offer both undergraduate and postgraduate course in neuroscience.

Amity Noida is a better option specially in terms of placements for CSE students.

Placements in our college are good. Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc., visit the campus for placements and almost all the students get placed. The average package offered was 5 LPA, the highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered was around 2 LPA. The college provides internships to all students.

The infrastructure is satisfying. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Labs are well-equipped. Classrooms are well furnished, each containing boards and a projector. Courts for tennis, badminton, basketball, etc., are available. Auditoriums are huge enough. Food provided in the canteen is good.

Teachers are well qualified. Most of them hold a PhD degree. Teachers are very helpful. Notes are given regularly. The student to faculty ratio is 50:1. Industry exposure is provided often. They try to give us quality knowledge. The course curriculum is useful.

Hi, there some important instructions that you should know while calculating best of four percentage for Delhi University:

•  You need to include one compulsory language(core/elective/functional)
•  Your second subject should the one in which you wish to seek admission. If you don't include that subject then   2.5% marks will be deducted from your best of four percentage
•  The next two subjects should be academic/elective subjects according to List A. If you don't include subjects as   per List A then 2.5% marks will be deducted from your best of four percentage.

So, basically what subjects need to be included in your best of four calculation depends on what course you are applying for.

Unfortunately you cannot apply for BA Hons as one compulsory language is English. You can try Applying for B.A Programme or B.A. (Hons) in Hindi Patrakarita or B.A(hons) in hindi.

The eligibility criteria for B.A. (Hons) in Hindi Patrakarita or B.A(hons) in hindi is that you need to pass your qualifying examination with at least 45% and should have secured at least 50% marks in the subject you wish to take admission in.

Students who have passed 10+2 level with science stream in 2018 or 2019 are eligible to apply 

for admissions and appear for IAT 2019.

However, they will be considered for admissions to the degree programmes only if they

 obtain the cut-off marks specified for their board. 

Students applying through SCB channel will have to appear in the IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 

which will be conducted at various centres across the country.
