see apart from aerospace engineering, you could look at aeronautical engineering offered I think by Manipal University, SRM to name some. You could apply to IISt - they have avionics too. However admissions to IIST is through JEE Advanced.

If you have interest in this stream, automatically you will make your place in the industry. Also, if you get in a good college - IIT/NIT, a min. of 4-6lac package is almost assured.
