Scope
Hey Aman,,
Electrical is Electrical and Electronics Engineering and ECE is Electronics and Communication Engineering. From my point of view ECE is much better than Electrical because ECE has Two fileds to work with and it has many companies in which Freshers are recruited on the basis of Placements.
Whereas there are hardly any core companies recruiting for electrical engineering in India.
As far as scope is concerned, I have learned that EC have more chances of getting into IT companies rather than Electrical students.
But it finally depends on what your talents and interests are in and what are you willing to do,if you like what you are doing you will always get a good job .
All the best!!

Dear aspirant,
Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is a 3 years long Diploma certificate program. This course can be pursued by students who have passed 10th and 12th (Science stream, mathematics group) standards.
Electrical engineering is an engineering discipline that deals with electricity. This discipline covers topics like generation and transmission of electricity, electrical systems and devices. Electrical engineering work in the design, development and maintenance of such devices, power plants and systems.
Electronics engineering is a discipline of engineering that deals with the study and design of electronic devices, components and circuits. This discipline uses the principles and concepts of electrical engineering and applied the same principles towards the design and manufacturing of electronic circuits, components and devices.
Electrical and Electronics engineering is a combination of the above mentioned engineering disciplines. It is well known by the short name of EEE.
It is one such engineering discipline that influences our day to day lives in many ways. Electrical and electronics engineering plays a huge role in the manufacturing of devices and equipment that are used for a variety of purposes.
Government and private sector job opportunities are available in front of electrical and electronics engineers.
Common sectors/industries where they may work are – electrical industry firms, electronics industry firms, power generation and transmission firms (power plants). In such work setups, they may take on a role in areas such as design, product manufacturing, quality control, marketing and R&D.
If you are an entrepreneur at heart and have access to decent financial resources, you may even start own electrical and electronics devices manufacturing firm (small, medium or large scale). After completing Master’s Degree, one may land the job post of a lecturer (at relevant technical education institute).
Starting salary depends on different factors. Prominent factors are- job location, profile of the employer, employee skills and qualification. General starting salary in case of environmental engineers is around 10-25k Rupees per month. In case of Government job, salary will be based on Pay Band and scale.
Hope the answer is helpful.
Good luck!
Hello Aspirant,
Hope your doing good.
Both Computer Science and IT branch have equal opportunities in the field of Software. But while studying, in CSE branch, you will get more details about software courses as well as some subjects related to hardware also but in case of IT, you do not have any hardware related subjects in your entire syllabus.
Coming to job opportunities, Software Industry is dependent on overseas clients from US and Europe. When the economy of US and Europe in the right track, then Software companies also grow along with them as there are many more projects available with them. At this point of time, US economy is reviving from slowdown, so going ahead, ample opportunities will come in Software companies.
Except that both the courses are same incase of higher studies or placement opportunities computer science students are given more preference. check with the syllabus and move ahead !
Hope this helps for more such queries ping us down below.
Thankyou. goodluck for everything ahead :)
Abhishek,
For our country, Agriculture Engineering has more scops than Food Processing Engineering or Food Technology. You can be a designer of power and machine system, Plant production manager, farm structure engineer and can work in the fields like Biogas generation. Also, if you wish to go for Research and Development, there are a lot of scopes in India.
There are also some branches like Plastic Engineering, Metallurgy Engineering, Applied Instrumentation, etc.
Hello,
