The salary,job , promotion, living standard in any branch of engineering depends upon you and indirectly from the college which your completing your b.tech.
It just depends upon you how much you capable ,why any company will offer you .
As many computer science engineering working in Google also and many are unemployment . Having a degree never matters .your knowledge and capacity matters.

After completion of B.Tech there are many options and exams which one can give. If you have a interest of doing management then there are exams like CAT,XAT and other premier entrance exams.
If you have interest towards civil services then opt for UPSC or any state government exams. Which most of the people prefers doing.
Other than this if you want to puruse higher studies then it is totallu upto you.

IOCL or Indian Oil has invited graduate engineers for recruitment as Engineers or Officers (quality control) through GATE exam. Shortlisting of candidates for further selection process (GD/GT or PI) will be based on scores secured in GATE 2019.

Photography is a lucrative career and is high on demand and can be very promising if you acquire right sort of skills and training. Since you are a 10+2 passout, you may wish to either pursue BA in Journalism & Mass Communication which offers photography as a subject in its course structure or you may wish to pursue a Diploma/Foundation course in Photography which will equip you with technical skills as well as provide access to the professional world of photography. You can apply for XAT Entrance Exam as there is no any minimum score restriction in the qualifying exam. But Generally a good reputated colleges require minimum 50% in Graduation. I would suggest you to get a very high percentile so that It can help you to recover your qualifying exam score loss & convert a call from a decent college.
