Hello,

percentile score is normalized with in 0-100 which is also said as normalized score.Normalized score is calculated by formula:-

40+(10/S)(R-M) where  S means for standard deviation, R means raw score and M means mean score.  if your normalized score is above 60, it is graded A for general category.

see at this score you can not get any tier 1 or tier 2 colleges, however in tier 3 colleges there is direct admission and this colleges do not required any high percentile, tier 3 colleges do not have any good placement record, less number of faculty and students

(your marks/ total marks)* 100

339.50/800  * 100

= 42.44 percentage.

however at this score you can not get any good colleges, and in tier 3 colleges there is no good placement record, less number of faculty, less of student strength,
