You can get admission to B.arch or B.Planning through the marks obtained in JEE Main paper 2. So if you score good marks in Jee Paper 2, you will be able to get admission in B.Arch colleges of India. You can't get admission to B.Tech courses on the basis of

Jee main scores are enough for admission in gbpuat pantnagar for btech. The following institute doesn't conduct an individual entrance exam for admission to its btech courses.

Only JEE scores are valid for B.Tech admissions in all streams in this institute and a merit list will be prepared

112 is approximately 74%. You haven't mentioned your son's Category. Irrespective of that with 74%, he qualifies in the exam. But with 74%, his chances for a seat are a tad lesser because of the intense competition. But his name might be listed in the waiting list. But please do
