And if you talking about AU then you should know that this college has pretty good demand compared to the last year and you should definitely apply for if you wish. But getting the main campus is bite difficult but Try, you have the possibility to get admission. I hope you get it.

Last year, the cut off rank for the general category students in the MCA course in Banaras Hindi university, was 372. With your rank of  417 , you do have a chance as the cut offs do fluctuate every year. You must be aware that cut offs are dependent of many factors like how many students appeared in the examination and how they perfomed, difficulty of entrance examination etc, so you can hope for the best till the university releases cut off. If your name is not there in both selection list as well as waiting list for M.Sc. in Pondicherry University, then your admission is not possible in the masters degree there. If someone does not confirm admission there, then students who are in the waiting list will be preferred for admission.
